How to Join the Church
Sometimes individuals wonder about the need to
“join” a church. In brief, joining a church is in line with biblical
doctrine. From Acts chapter 2,
along with 1 Corinthians 12, the Bible is clear in its teachings about the importance of church membership and service.
Baptism:
If you are a new Christian, baptism is the next step for you. Baptism is simply an outward
expression of the spiritual rebirth which has occurred by your trusting Jesus as
your Savior in seeking God's forgiveness. It literally represents a rebirth. Also,
if you have been a Christian, yet have never been baptized, this would be the
option for you.

By Letter: If you are currently a member of another Baptist church, or a church whose doctrine is similar to that of what Miller Heights professes, you may simply request for your membership to be moved from that church to this one. Your request will be handled through the church office; we will submit that request for you. |
Statement: If you have been a member of another Baptist church, but that church, for some reason, no longer exists or
cannot locate your
records, this may be an option you can use to join Miller Heights.
A
